A LITTLE ABOUT ME
In my early career I found an outlet for my creativity in the world of design. Starting off as a Graphic Designer, I then turned my attention towards video editing and animation. However, even with years of experience in many different industries, I never truly found fulfillment in the day to day activities of either choices. Lingering in my mind was more than just the want to create something beautiful, there was always something in me that wanted to understand why something was the way that it was.
That's when I found UX Design.
I found that everything UX Design had to offer quickly ticked every box I had in my head for a fulfilling career. This field wasn't only just about making things look pretty, it was about making a human connection to someone that was on the other side of the screen. Putting yourself into their shoes, showing empathy in the problems that people face, and working diligently to find solutions in a team based environment, that's what UX Design had to offer. Knowing this now, I am aiming to become a UX Designer that not only creates beautiful experiences, but one that can also do my part in helping society fix the problems we all face. This is why I choose UX.
